The Texas Oilman’s Bass Invitational is a premier nonprofit charity bass fishing tournament held each March at Toledo Bend for participants whose annual or retirement income is directly derived from being employed or engaged in the exploration, production and/or servicing of oil and gas wells. The tournament was founded in 1990 and has donated approximately $2.3 Million to the Renal Unit of the Texas Children’s Hospital since that time. TOBI donates solely to the Texas Children’s Hospital and we enjoy hosting an annual fishing trip outing for the kids in the Renal Unit. TOBI is also honored to be invited to participate in the Renal Unit Christmas party each year.
The TOBI Committee is comprised of approximately 45 volunteers engaged in the upstream oil and gas industry. We are supported by generous Sponsorships and donations of ‘in kind’ products and services from oil and gas operators and service companies.
